Advice to HBAG Members: Government Has Extended the No Interest Loan Scheme

The Home Builders Action Group is pleased to advise you that the Government has extended the NO INTEREST LOANS SCHEME (NILS) for houses commenced prior to August 2022.

Builders who have already received assistance under the scheme can apply for additional assistance under the second round of funding, bringing the total available to $600,000. HBAG strongly recommends that you keep your eye out for an upcoming announcement for the second round of NILS Funding.

Applicants who failed to qualify for NILS Funding the first time will be reassessed and if you are in this category of applicants or if you believe you qualify for the second round of funding, we suggest you contact JTSI (Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation) on 6277 3000 to discuss the application process for this second round of funding.
